This is my third post about breaking password in windows. in my previous post i have taught you how to recover password using window installation disk and using software. In this trick i will show that we can also recover window password by using another operating system. In this post i am using ubuntu. So let's start...
What you need :
1) Pendrive 8GB or Greater
2) Ubuntu iso file. Get this from here http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop Download 32Bit extended version for better support and don't rename the file after download...
3) Universal USB installer. Get this from here http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/
Now Follow These Steps :
Open the Universal USB install
- Select the exact version of Ubuntu which you have downloaded (You can see the exact name from the file which you have downloaded)
- Mount Pendrive
- Browse to the Ubuntu.iso file location
- Select the Pendrive which you have mounted
- Click on create
- keep paitence for 20 to 25 min
- After completeion mount this Pendrive to the target
- Start the target computer and Select the Boot Sequence which is oftenly selected by Esc and F9 or depends upon your target computer
- Select Pendrive for Boot this time
- You will show a animated screen and after that it will ask two options (Try Ubuntu)(Install Ubuntu) Click on (Try Ubuntu)
- Work with paitence because it takes sometime for BOOT
- You will see desktop of Ubuntu then click on (File System) which is placed in toolbar and it look likes a Folder
- Then Browse to that directory in which Windows is installed
- Windows Partition>Open the folder named as (Windows)>Open win32 folder
- Then write cmd.exe in search bar rename it to magnif.exe
- Then write Magnify.exe in search bar and rename it to cmd.exe
- Then write Magnif.exe in search bar and rename it to Magnify.exe
- Then Shutdown computer and remove pendrive
Now:::
- Start it again when it come to the password screen there is a (Ease of access) icon at the left bottom corner click on it and select magnifier
- It will open the cmd command prompt
- Now you have two options:-
- i)First to make new Administrator Account (it is more AUTHENTIC)
- ii)Second to change the password of existing account using cmd (it is less AUTHENTIC but easy and comfortable)
- First I will tell you second method
- write "net user" in cmd without quotes and press enter
- then write "net user x Microsoft" without quotes and press enter
- Where x is the username of account it is case sensitive
- Then close cmd and write Microsoft in password area and press enter if it works then it will be good for you otherwise try First Method
- First Method
- All process remain same just in cmd write "net user /add v4L 12345" without quotes
- Where v4L is username of new account and 12345 is password of new account
- Add another command to give administrative privilige "net localgroup administrators v4L /add" without quotes
- Add another command to make it administrator "net share SHARE_NAME=C:\ /grant:v4L,full" without quotes
- Now resatart the system and Then Log on to v4L and give password 12345
- If the desktop icons are not showning then start task manger just
- Now rename the both files to their original names by using Ubuntu again
NOW ENJOY.......!
